Marianne Majewski, Executive Director
     Marianne Majewski has dedicated over twenty-five years of service to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen. A licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, Marianne began her work at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen as an intern while completing her MSW. Marianne was subsequently hired as a full time staff member working with clients from the low income housing projects in Woodbridge, NJ. Marianne Majewski steadily moved up through the ranks, serving as a Program Director, Division Director, and Assistant Executive Director. In August of 2000, Marianne Majewski was appointed to the position of Executive Director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen. In addition to her responsibility as Executive Director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, in 2001 the Bishop appointed Marianne the Director of the Department of Social Services for the Diocese of Metuchen.
     Marianne currently serves as a Board of Trustees member on the following Boards; Metuchen Community Services Corporation, Community House at St. Thomas Corporation and the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey.      

Julio Coto, Assistant Executive Director
     Julio Coto has a 21 year history with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen.  With a BSW from Kean University and an MSW from Rutgers University, he performed both of his clinical internships with Agency programs.  Between the years of 1984 and 1997, Julio worked as Program Director for the Carteret Youth Programs, the Director of the Woodbridge Housing Program, Program Director for Nazareth House Residential Facility, Area Director for Hunterdon County and Area Director for Youth Services in Middlesex and Somerset Counties.  

     In 1997, Julio left the Agency to pursue other opportunities including a position as Director of Programs for Family and Children’s Services in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  In 2003, Julio returned to Catholic charities, Diocese of Metuchen as Director of the PACT programs throughout the Diocese.  He was subsequently named Division Director for Behavioral Health and Youth Services and ultimately Assistant Executive Director.

     Throughout his career, Julio has stood on various professional boards and committees.  He is currently an active officer for the Knights of Columbus.

Joan Lorah, Assistant Executive Director
     Ms. Lorah completed her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Temple University. From there, she went on to obtain her MSW from the Social Work program at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Her professional experience includes multiple management and executive positions before she joined Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen in 1984.
     Her work with the Agency began as a clinical supervisor in the Behavior Health Division. From there, she advanced through the Agency holding the positions of Program Director, Multi-Program Director and Service Area Director before coming to her current position as Assistant Executive Director. Currently, Ms. Lorah is responsible for the oversight of the following divisions: Therapeutic Foster care and Maternity and Adoption, Housing and Social Concerns, Child Care Resource, Referral and Services. She is also a board member of Coordinated Family Care of Middlesex County.      

Christine Benitez, Chief Financial Officer
      A Certified Public Accountant and MBA from Rutgers University, School of Business Management, Ms. Benitez began her career in public accounting with a specialization in small business and non-profit organizations. She joined Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen in 1995 as a staff accountant responsible for client billing and the related practice management system. She steadily advanced, being promoted to Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Controller. In 2001, she joined the executive team as Chief Financial Officer for the Agency. In addition to her responsibilities with the Agency, Ms. Benitez is an active member of the New Jersey CPA Society.

Douglas J. Susan, Director of Compliance
     Director of Compliance for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, Mr. Susan earned his BA from Princeton University in New Jersey. From there, he went to work in the research department of ConvaTec, a Division of Bristol Myers Squibb. Subsequently, he attended Widener University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude with his JD.
     Mr. Susan is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
     Since coming to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, Mr. Susan has served as Director of Compliance assisting in the implementation of a healthcare compliance plan in accordance with federal guidelines. He also provides some general counsel work for the Agency.

J. Patrick Byrne - Director, Administrative Services
     J. Patrick Byrne has more than 28 years experience in administrative management. Mr. Byrne was previously employed by the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), the state's child welfare and protective services agency. As the Chief of Staff (COS) of DYFS, he was responsible for administrative operations, overseeing the Office of Human Resources for some 3,400 employees, as well as incorporating the responsibilities of his formerly held position as the Assistant DYFS Director for the Offices of Licensing, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, and Management Services.
     Pat earned his BS in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey. Byrne served as the eighth president of the National Association for Regulatory Administration, (NARA), in addition to terms as Treasurer and At-Large Member of the NARA governing board. He is involved in a number of other professional and community organizations as the Chairperson of both the Implementation Advisory Committee and the Zoning Board of Adjustment for Washington Township, NJ.
     As the Director of Administrative Services, Mr. Byrne oversees the Departments of Performance Improvement, Human Resources, Information Technology and Facilities Management.
